How to Promote YouTube Videos for Free and Boost Channel Growth
Sheer size and overcrowding on YouTube make it a very difficult platform to get started with especially overcoming that initial inertia from having no or very few followers.
Getting that first bit of traction from a standing start may be hard but it’s not impossible.
The key is to make use of every available tool or tip you can to get things moving until it eventually starts to get a bit easier.
Still Hate YouTube SHORTS? Let Me Change Your Mind
It is easy to dismiss YouTube Shorts as being some kind of lame and gimmicky attempt by YouTube to counter similar developments in other video platforms or social media.
The reality is somewhat different than that and if you are a YouTube creator then you really need to check out the video below.
Whilst I am not a fan myself of these extreme short form videos there are plenty of people who are.
More importantly is how those people interact with Shorts and what they do after watching them that can make a world of difference to already existing content you may have.
There really is no excuse for not making them these days, nearly all video editing software like Corel VideoStudio already have templates set up for this kind of video project.

GoPro HERO10: How to Choose the Best Resolution + Frame Rate

How To Green Screen Video / Chroma Key – CyberLink PowerDirector 20
One of the reason I generally use PowerDirector for any green screen projects is because it has one of the best Chroma-key modules around at the consumer level.
Having said that I think first of all we need to discuss the dirty little green screen secret that the software makers don’t like to talk about.
The key (yes, pun intended) to green screen or any chroma-key footage is that 90% of the effect will be achieved in the shooting and about 10% in the editing.
If you don’t shoot it well, it will be very difficult to deal with in editing and that’s the bottom line.
So, why do I like PD for green screen?
In the module itself like most green screen modules you can select a color to “key out.”
If your shooting was not so good so that you have an inconsistent green or key colour, PowerDirector allows you to choose up to three total variations from the screen to get it right.

Text Reveal Animation Effect Title – Filmora X Tutorial
The concepts covered in the video below apply to just about any video editing software I am aware of so don’t be put off by it being done in Filmora.
The average consumer level video editing software these days will offer a whole bunch of ways to manipulate and animate text and titles.
That’s the good news!
The bad news is that to really get to grips with it all and be able to execute the full range of features on offer you have to know how it all works.
Easily the best way to do that is to go into the editor and just go crazy with all the controls, knobs, buttons and dials until you get a feel for how it all works.
How to Highlight Moving Objects in Filmora X
This is a pretty straightforward runthrough of using the motion tracking feature in Filmora X then attaching objects or masks to that track.
Bear in mind that the tracking module in Filmora is pretty much automatic so there is always the possibility that it will “lose” the thing you are tracking in the video.
This happens more often if you are tracking something within a scene that has a lot going on in it.
To get around this simply let the module track until it loses the tracking point you want followed.
Back the footage up a little to just before the point it got lost and make a cut.
Now re-deploy the tracker on the next section until it loses it again.
That way you can just keep re-setting the tracking until you are done.
