The Friday Roundup – Filmora A.I. Thumbnails, VideoStudio Effects

Woman shocked at getting clicks.

How to Create Eye Catching Thumbnails Using New AI Tools – Wondershare Filmora 12

So in the latest versions of Filmora they have added access through the software interface to ChatGPT.

From inside the program you can directly connect to ChatGPT and have it generate Titles, Descriptions and even scripts or script ideas.

On top of that you can now access A.I. image generation to create, as you can see in the video below, thumbnails for your videos as well as full screen images.

If that wasn’t enough there is one more trick you can use as well.

You can use ChatGPT to generate a Prompt to then use in the A.I. image module to get the images you really want!

Want to Make Your Videos Stand Out? Try These 3 Filters

It is easy to overlook a few of the features in VideoStudio that really afford you some pro control.

At face value VideoStudio looks like a very competent video editor at the consumer level but looks can be deceiving.

Instead of adding a bunch of advanced features that will generally clutter the interface Corel have taken a slightly different path with the use of 3rd party plugins.

One of those is the set of tools offered by ProDad that comes with VideoStudio.

Inside that module are a bunch of pro level filters, tools and effects that can lift your projects out of the ordinary.

The trick is knowing how to find them and how to use them!

Check it out in the video below.

5 Cool Video Editing Techniques Made By ChatGPT for Beginners

So here’s this week’s tip for using ChatGPTwith your video editing projects.

No, it is not going to make a video for you (yet) but it really is an awesome tool for coming up with ideas and suggestions for what you can do.

Master Audio Editing Basics – The Ultimate Audacity Guide for Beginners

To this day probably the weakest point in most video editing software is the degree of control you can exercise over the audio.

It is after all video editing software so apart from basic or rudimentary tools you really are left with not much to work with.

That’s not to say they haven’t improved over the years but let’s face it, they entered this race way, way behind the start line!

To this day even though I have some very sophisticated editing software I still do most of my final polishing in Audacity.

I take my projects almost to completion and as a final step export the audio to Audacity and get my final mix.

If you are interested in Audacity the good news is that it is free and in the video below you can get to see it in action and how to get started with it.

PowerDirector – Tips on Using the Audio Restoration Assistant Tool

This is a demonstration of a new tool in PowerDirector called the Restoration Assistant.

This new module seems to be a combination of known audio analysis and correction software modified by A.I. driven information to guide the restoration.

Zoom In and Out with Pan & Zoom- PowerDirector

The Zoom in and Out function in any video editing software is a quite important feature to get a handle on.

Adding a little movement to a static image, covering a jump cut or just doing a little zoom because you have only one camera angle are all tools you can use to add interest and retain attention.

Mastering the Art of Text Behind Objects in Filmora

This is always a good effect to use for a little added professionalism.

The key here is to understand the technique and although shown using Filmora you can do it in most video editing software offering masks.

Filmora 12.3 All new Features: Color Wheels, Effect Mask and More

Say what you will about Filmora they are never slack about providing updates!

For example the video below was produced last week and covers the updates in Filmora 12.3.2.

When I went to check my own version today while writing this they has already moved past that and we are now at 12.3.3!

You can see the new features in the video below for both versions because 12.3.3 was bugfix and improvement update with no added features.

Struggling to Understand YouTube Analytics?

OK so let’s be honest here. NO-ONE really wants to understand YouTube Analytics!

Generally speaking just about everyone talks a quick look at those analytics pages and nopes the hell outta there real fast!

The bad news is these days unless you bite the bullet and take a deep dive into those stats you will always be flying blind and your channel will most likely not take off.

So when it comes to taking complex things and making them seem a little less complex then Daniel Batal is the man!

The video below is about an hour and a half and is well worth setting some time aside for.
