YouTube Community Tab & Posts – The Complete Guide

YouTube recently announced that the number of subscribers channel needs to gain full access to the “Community” tab had dropped from 1000 to 500.

Magic Plant Grow Effect – Wondershare Filmora X Tutorial

As is the case with most of these Filmora special effects clips the value is in the technique… not the result.

What I mean by that is that the effect relies on shooting, masking, applying effects and keyframes and these are skills you really need to understand to make good effects.

It doesn’t matter if you do or do not want a flower growing effect!

What matters is you understand how it is done and how you can apply these techniques to your own ideas.

PowerDirector – Two Ways to Match Color Between Clips

This is a good walk through of a couple of methods you can use in PowerDirector to get clips with noticeable differences to match.

Aside from the usual differences you get because of changing light, setting or time of day this can also happen because of different equipment.

It is not unusual these days to have video available form a number of different devices because everyone is taking videos!

The first method uses the built-in Color Match tool which very often can do a pretty good job especially if you take the time to fine tune it.

The second method utilizes LUTs and again, results will vary and fine tuning is necessary.

Horror Movie Haunted Mirror Effect – PowerDirector

This is a very simple yet effective sequence you can do for Halloween.

It is the effect where someone is in front of a mirror and then suddenly the reflection starts to act on its own independent of the person in front of the mirror.

This one is done in the PowerDirector App so clearly if the App can do it then any full video editing software can do it as well.

Another new featured added to Cyberlink PowerDirector 20/365 this year was “Smart Fit” for music tracks.

This is another of their A.I. driven modules that can intelligently cut and shorten or cut and paste to lengthen any music track to fit the exact length of a project or clip.
