The Friday Roundup – GoPro Hero4 Released and not much Else!

Well this week it all seems to be about the the newly released GoPro Hero4.

In fact after a week of carefully inspecting all the news from every source I tap into it seems that the whole GoPro thing is the only event that seems to have occurred in the world of video shooting and editing for about a week now!

Given that my blog posts are completely reliant on others creating quality content for publishing and the fact that I am way too lazy to actually write anything of my own there is nothing left for me to do!

I guess I am going to have to go with the crowd and excitedly report the release of the GoPro… pathetic, I know.

Of course I could get into my own thoughts and first impressions of this seemingly earth shattering event but the problem is I am totally not qualified to do so.

Many years ago I gave up on trying to keep up with the latest and greatest in the world of video camcorders etc. because it seemed that almost every day something new was being released.

I honestly have no idea how anyone manages to keep up with it all.

So instead of trying to do a good fake job of breathlessly extolling the virtues of the GoPro, I have simply gathered to gether a bunch of relevant articles and videos which I think will give you a good idea about what the big deal is and whether it is worth your while taking a look at.

One thing I will say is that when you take a look at any of the footage below, do it in high definition because really, some of it is absolutely awesome especially from a cam that fits in the palm of your hand.
