One of the easiest ways to get b-roll footage has always been to just use a stock video site and download what you need.

This has become an especially attractive proposition since the introduction in many video editing software programs of automatic shot matching technology.

That means your downloaded footage can pretty much match your existing footage for a seamless visual presentation.

The landscape within these sites is ever changing and evolving.

Free sites become paid and paid sites begin to include free stuff and every variation in between.

In light of that here’s an updated roundup of the current best stock video sites that are royalty free.

Some are paid, some free and some a mix of both.


Movavi Video Editor Updates for 2023

It’s pretty normal around this time of year for most of the mainstream video editing software manufacturers to update their software.

The economic reality of this is because were are heading into the Christmas, New Year period when internet sales go crazy.

So in light of that Movavi has just announced an update to a lot of their software including the Movavi Video Editor which of course I am most interested in.

Movavi have been developing their editing software at a pretty steady rate over the past few years so this update is probably going to be pretty good.
